Hig-genbotham’s Jumper cut the lead to four with 1:00 left. OCC’s Don McDonald was fouled but missed both shots and another Hlggenbotham bucket cut the lead to two with 35 secs rema-lning. Olney brought the ball back down court and lost It out of bounds to the Warriors. The Warriors were unable to get the good shot and a Bob John-son attempt went wide with ten seconds to play. But thp War. rlors were not yet finished. Don Roberts was fouled and Olney had their chance to ice the ball game with a pair of free throws. Don McDonald and Don Roberts tossed In 19 and 17 respectively.The Warriors hit 26 of 62 from the field for 41.9 per cent and hit 12 of 16 from the free throw line. Olney shot an even 50 per cent from the field on 28 of 56, but was cool from the charity stripe hitting only 10 Of 21.The loss brings the WVC slate to 9-9 overall and 4-4 in the SICC.
