FOOTBALL FIELD - A PILE OF DIRT'* --Arlington State College's Memorial Stadium has taken on a very new look lately. All stands on the east have been moved to the west (note newsection at far right in background) and where the green turf of the field used to be there arc tons upon tons of dirt. Movement is continuous as the huge dirt haulers, road graders, and dumptrucks form a constant maze in their never ending toil to level the field and pack the dirt down. This is part of the $225,000 Expai sion project of ASC. Deadline for the new field and stands is the beginning of next foothall season. ASC and AHS have entered a 10 year agreement whereby all High School Home Games will be played in the new stadium on a rental fee basis, -NEWS TEXAN PHOTO.
