Hup CupUnbeaten Damascus kept its streak perfect, Saturday, edging Montgomery County rival Rockville, 155.5-150.5, to win the annual Hub Cup wrestling tournament, at North Hagerstown High School.Meanwhile, Williamsport finished third (135.5) in the 12-team field while Frederick was fourth (128.5), North Hagerstown was fifth (113), Smithsburg was sixth (124), Linganore was seventh (121.5), Beall was eighth (98), Bowie was ninth (855), Frederick Douglass was 10th (67), and South Hagerstown and Walt Whitman tied for 11th (64).Randy Pickett (112) went unbeaten in three matches with two pins to win an individual title for the Hornets while Andy DeVnendt (135), Danny Wolford (145) and Tom Horwat (171) finished second. Sean O’Neill (103) and Matt Glover (275) finished third for Damascus; and Nick York (119), Bobby Mann (125) and Joey Dunn (152) all finished fourth.For Frederick, Jaimie Weister won the 171-pound weight class while Larry Raymond (112), Mike Mcllvaine (189) and Tim Novak (130) all finished second. Mcllvaine had been undefeated going into the tournament but Williamsport’s Mark_Wrestling_Janus pinned him at the buzzer at the end of the second period.Linganore's Ben Arneson (140) and John Chucoski (145) both won individual titles. Chucoski is unbeaten in 21 matches for the Lancers this year.Mike Gialanella (275) finished fourth for Linganore after suffering tom rib cartilage and Ryan Greene (130) also finished fourth
