Sick of So Much Talk and the Fight :Is Seemingly off,A fight between Jeffries and Fitzsimmons for the heavy-weight championship of the -world Is apparently ’ as far off as ever. The project began, in talk and It seemingly has ended there.There will be no meeting of the fighters to-day, as was announced yesterday.Jeffries said last night:•‘Because I went to a certain newspaper office to-day to see a friend the Impression at once got out that' 1 was there to make a flght with Fitzsimmons. When I want to talk tight with Fltz it won't be In any newspaper ofllce. There has been jp. great deal too much talk already and nothing doing. I'm sick of It all.One thing Is final. added Jeffries, and that Is that I won’t fight Fltz nor anybody else for a third of the proceeds.Match-maker Kennedy, iwho ’has been trying to get the men together, said-that as far as he knew, negotiations halt;i fallen through altogether. saidKennedy, says he Is sick of so much •talk and that he’s done with the whole thing.
