The project began, in talk and It seemingly has ended there.There will be no meeting of the fighters to-day, as was announced yesterday.Jeffries said last night:•‘Because I went to a certain newspaper office to-day to see a friend the Impression at once got out that' 1 was there to make a flght with Fitzsimmons. When I want to talk tight with Fltz it won't be In any newspaper ofllce. There has been jp. great deal too much talk already and nothing doing.
