BasketballThe Camden Evening Telegram pays the following high tribute to the great teamwork of the Trentons in Saturday night's game with Camden at Camden.“That the T teuton aNtional League Basketball team is master of the game was ctearly demonstrated’ Saturday evening, when the greatly strengthened Camnen team was-beaten to the tune of 3T to H. The locals had trained to hi oak up iren ton’s tricks and win at any cost; but when it was discovered that the t apical city boys had aban-d(ined their old game and adopted many entirely new tricks, the home leans seemed to be completely bewildered. it was a good exhibition of the gaihe, however, and the thousand or raoie spectators, while many of them wcie disappointem because of Camden losing, felt satisfied .with the sport furnished them. tTrentons' team work was brilliant, each' man being in the right place at the proper time The passing was far superior to anything ever seen on Camden's floor .and at numerous periods of the game were the Camden rooters forced to applaud the little wearers of jibe red and black, for their clever exhibition.MIt seems a pity that a place large enough to accommodate the spectators could not be spcured for the Trenton-Mercer game. At least 5,000 persons want to see the contest, and out of that number but 1.500 Wtll be able to. squeeze into Masonic Temple.The old players of the Millville National League team have organized the Millville Hasbeens, with the following line-up; Dunlap and Gifford, attacks; Hoffman, centre, and Joe Hankins and |'Harris, defences.
