Del Wifeerg played hia ro usual good game and although the score was one sided, kicked out a lot of rubber. Gordon Woods was the only one able to penatrate Oak Rivers solid defence with one goal. Myles Buchanan picked up the only assist.January 31st—Cairdale travelled to Shoal Lake to determine finst plaice in their league. It was a hard * fought 'battle all the way, with the scone being tied at 1to 1 at the end of the first period.In the second period Cardale scored the only goal and were ahead 2 tol at the end of the second period.Then in the third period the Jets roared back and out scored Cardale5 to 1 to win the game 6 to 3. Thatlittle right winger Gordon Woods was our big gun and scored three goals, Darcy Purdy was the other 2,1 big scorer and scoredS, with De rick 2. | Edmondson getting 4 single.
