Basket Ball Games In Flushing.Special ip The New York Times.FLUSHING. L. I.. Feb. o.-At a meeting of the Basket Ball Committee of the Amateur Athletic Union in the armory of theSeventeenth Separate Company here tonight. it was decided to hold the annualchampionship basketball tournament forthe team honors of the Metropolitan Division at the armory here, in Main Street. This will prevent the necessity of moving all around from court to court, in the dit-ferentTrmorv butldin**. which was tried last year in New -York and Brooklyn, and which proved unsuccess! ill and failed financiallv Through the efforts of Man-a?erDooley of the Seventeenth Separate Company, this year the substitute players oft each team will receive medals as wellthe regular men of the teams. T he com-pai y will make all financial arrangements for the events, and the Amateui Athletic Unton will come In for its share of the gate on a percentage basis.
