Southern LolcesTim Whiting will lead the way as East Troy’s defending WIAA Class B state champions shoot for their sixth straight Southern Lakes championship in the league’s 12-school showdown at Elkhorn.The Trojans already have won the Western Division dual championship with a 8-0 record, making them the favorite to take an eighth league title in nine years. He has passed up wrestling this year to concentrate on football, where he is close to accepting a scholarship from either the University of Iowa or Michigan.Whiting will be joined by Jon Kelly of Elkhorn and Charlie Coe of Whitewater as returning conference champions. Kelly placed fourth in the state last season at 185 pounds, the class in which he will be trying to repeat as league champ.
