He banged his next nine balls:mto thepocket for nine strikes in a row. On his 10th baU newent in too high on the head pin and ended his string,as the seven pin failed to fall. He closed out his series'VXthBob Smith posted the high series at the Bowlmor,* 638 and Jack Lawson rolled high game of 268,Dee Martin rolled high series for the women. She posted a 593 three-game block at Myers to just beat out Shirley Good,who rolled a 585 at the Bowlmor.Dee started off strong with a 225. Followed that with a 206and finished with a 162. ■ . .Shirley posted games of 181-213-191 for her series total of585. She also rolled a 543 series in the same week for a sixgame total of 1,128. _Bev Franklin recorded the high game for the city, . tst. Janet Harman posted a 173 game and Beth Burley came in with a 157 mark.f:nff.
