Erne Defeats Howell.[By International News Service.]Philadelphia, Feb. 3.—Hooks, jabs and clever blocking brought victory to oung Erne over Tommy Howell at the Olympic Athletic Club tonight. Erne was the stronger and In the third round dropped Howell on his face with a hard right on the jaw, and followed with another right uppercut to the jaw, staggering Tommy when he rose to his feet. It was Erne’s fight all the way.
