The Golf MarathonI must say I do not quite understand what is being done about this Goif Marathon in aid of St. Dunstan’s which is being organised by Mr. Leslie Nash, and 1 and other golfers would welcome iome explanation in regard to it.In the official conditions as published by Mr. Nash and his Committee, it states distinctly that the competition will bo played once Per month at a different Club each month—but I now see. in the list of War Fund engagements, that it is due to be c untested at the St. Mary Country Club ias originally scheduled) on the 11th February, then at S* Thomas on the 18th. Februan and the week following. February J5. at Moneaguc.Does this mean that the Marathon is to be played for every week for the rest of the war, at one Club or another? If so, I think it is a very serious mistake; for certainly golfers .vho might wish to play in as many as possible of the competitions (which is supposedly the idea) cannot afford to leave hom-■ every Sunday, week after week for the duration! One Sunday per month, yes, quite a lot rj us could manage that—but every Sunday!
