Capt. Lykins and Dr. Faust of this city have challenged Frame and Shepard, the champion bowlers of Danville to a series of 10 games, five to be played at each town, Covington and Danville alleys. The challenge being accepted, they were to have met at Danville Thursday night, but owing to one of the Danville players being disabled it was postponed indefinitely. Dr. Faust and Capt. Lykins head the list of -averages among the Covington bowlers. The contest is now on, but has been delayed by the illnes Of one of the Danville team.
