Presently, the Mt. Ver-non-based collegiates are 1-18 overall.Larry Stonecipher once again paced the loser’s cause with 13 tallies while center Mark Maline rattled through 12 markers and Gary Burzynski had 10.Other Rend Lake scorers indued Ed Johnson with 6 points, Steve Chapman — who played an outstanding defensive game — got 5, and George Morgan, 2.Five contests still remain during the regular season, three of which will be in Ver-nois Gym. Next Tuesday, Rend Lake will welcome Wabash Valley for a return engagement. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
