Doan of Muscatine, la., sports promoter, and handling the House of David attraction has written here for a date, announcing that he has : secured the Kansas City Monarchs 530,000 porta Die* It gMing plant and will tour the country this spring and summer playing night games.Manitowoc fans will recall that the portable lighting plant of the Monarch club was used at the fair grounds here last season when Manitowoc met the Kenosha team of the Wisconsin State league in a night, game, following a regular league 'game on Sunday afternoon. The lighting was sufficient (to make possible the playing of a regulation game of ball, and at the same time give the spectators a good idea of what all this night baseball stuff was about.The night game here drew a crowd of several hundred fans.Alexander With Teamamej
