Ross went to Aberdeen with the intention of signing to fight with Tucker, but upon arriving there learned that Barney Mullen, a pugilist j from San Francisco wanted to fight both he and Tucker on the same evening, each man to go him ten rounds! In order to win the go Mullen must get the decision over both men, Ross will be the first one to meet Mullen. The bout will be pulled off at the Palm Theatre in Aberdeen, and five ounce I gloves will be used. Ross says that | Mullen will weigh under 150 pounds. If ] he and Tucker get the decision, they [ will receive 60 per cent nf the gate re-j ceipts to be divided equally between ' them.j
