C.A.H.A* Not Satisfied
TORONTO-Iluling bodies of professional and amateur hockey mot in camera and “in complete harmony’*- but Saturday delegates of the Canadian Amateur Hockey association made it clear they were not satisfied with their ageement with the N.H.L., and feared raiding” by pros of amateur clubs.
In closed session the relations committee of the N.1I.L. and the negotiating committees of thr* International Ice Hockey association and the C.A.H.A. met to discuss terms of a possible long-range agreement for payment of players between professional and amateur hockey associations.
Dr. W. G. Hardy of Edmonton, president of thr 1.1.H A , in a statement after Sunday's meeting, said the committees mad^ offers “acceptable to each other” which were subject to confirmation of their respective principals.
Clarence Campbell, appointed N.HX. president this year, wa present and at Saturday’s meeting, Georg* Dudley of Midland, secretary of the C.A.H.A. told dc'rgatps that since Campbell came on the scene “the N.H.L. has functioned more smoothly than at anv time in Its historv.

Dudley said ho did not think thp $20,000 received as annual payment for players turning professional was sufficient but the C.A.H.A. preferred to accept that amount instead of breaking with the N.H.L. at the present time.
