Problems, ProblemsTORONTO (CP) - Now it’s the Czechs who are posing the biggest headache to Canadian Amateur Hoqkey Association officials helping in an Ontario International hockey tournament this week. The CAHA has learned to expect such problems from the Soviet Union, but according to Gordon Berwick of Galt, a CAHA director, the Moscow Dynamos have been noticeably quiet on the-tour.“We’ve had nothing but prob* lems and complaints from the Czechs since they arrived here while the Russians have given us no complaints at all,” Ren-wiclc said Tuesday night. The Czechoslovakian team from Prague and the Dynamos are here for the first multi-nation hockey tournament held in Cauada. Timras Hockey Club of Sweden and three Ontario Hockey Association Senior dubs — Galt Hornets, Owen Sound Downtowners and Kingston Aces — are also involved in the15-game round-robin tournmcnt.. Renwicfc, who is. also president of the Galt club, said a lot of little things were piling one on top of the other to make tilings more difficult. He said the Czech team was particularly upset by its practice time allotted at Maple Leaf Gardens — 7 to 9 a.m, Tuesday — and beefed until they were finally given the 12:45 p.m. time slot. The Russian club was miffed, too, said Renwick, but at thePrague team for showing up “with a packed lineup ... imported for the tournament.1* “Each of the clubs were allowed to add three naliouals. But it looks like the Prague team has at least Jtine in its lineup and the Russians aren’t the least bit pleased.” lie said the difference developing between the two dubs will probably load to a bitter showdown when they meet In the tournament at the Gardens Friday night.
