‘Crusher’ to Test ChampDick SicinborneBuddy Rogers, one of the great drawing cards in wrestling throughout the country, will headline Wednesday's wrestling show at the Dane County Fairgrounds Arena.Claimant to the U. S. heavyweight title, the rugged Rogers will defend his championship against Crusher Lisowski, the Milwaukee strong man. In twoshows in Comiskey Park inChicago last summer, Rogers attracted 47,000 fans and drew a gross gate of $156,000.The Crusher is a powerful man at 250 pounds and he will have the added incentive of breaking the famed Rogers’ special four figure grapevine hold. Rogers has a standing offer that he will award $!,000 to anyone who can break the hold.Supporting the main feature will be a lag bout with Boris and Nicoli Volkoff matched against the team of Jolmny Gilbert and Billy Goelz; Johnny Kace meets Dick Steinborne; and Madison’s favorite. Art Thomas, will take on Bad Boy Joe of Minneapolis.
