The Engineers were also tied for fifth place with Whittier of California in the Associated Press ratings of the nation’s small colleges.Semcheski, All-Delco tackle at Chester High in 1957, led six Lehigh players who earned postseason honors. He was named to the Associated Press All* Pennsylvanir first team, the All-Middle Atlantic Conference first team, and the United Press All-East second team, the only small-college player among the top 33 selected by UPI.Semcheski was also named to the ECAC Small College SouthDuquesneFavoredIn Phillyfirst team, and was an AP Little American honorable mention and a Williamson Rating System Mid Bracket Special mention.
