KID TAYLORBEAT FINUCANEPeoria, 111., Dec. 2G. — Kid ‘l'aylor won a decision over Billy. Finucane in a 10-round bout here, after one of the hardest fighting bouts seen in Peoria in many years. Taylor had all the \ best of the fight from start to finish, I and in only one round did Finucane ] show class In the eighth and ninth Finucane weakened badly under the punishment of terrific shoots from Taylor’s active left,, and before close of the tenth was too weak to defend himself Taylor lacked the power, however, to secure a knockout. The men fought at 126 pounds.
