It 1 was stated today by W. W. Anderson, a negro attorney formerly one of ' Johnson's counsel. Anderson said he would close the deal tomorrow. 1The property will be owned by a i syndicate of ten negroes, men associated for the establishment of a club, which will be known as the Lincoln Social Athletic club. «It will be a nice, orderly and respectable place, Anderson said today.I do not understand why there Is so much talk about the purchase. lt;Anderson said the property would not be sold and that the club would be established there.
