Maluvius was appointed director of racing and wall becomeone of the stewards, representing he track.Mevers went to work in the racing secretary's office for the firsmeeting at Santa Anita. He be came an official at Del Mar i 1938. After World Warr II he adde io his affiliations the racing sec mtaryship at Pomona.
