Glendalebiases byTigersSpringfield Glendale grabbed an early lead Saturday night and handed the Carthage Tigers their fourtli setback, 70-56, in a nonconference contest at CSHS gymnasium.The Falcoms, now 3-1 for the season, got away to a 10-12 lead in the first quarter behind the firing of i^arry Buz bee.Buz bee, who set a Glendale single-game scoring mark of 34 points, helped push the Falcons’ half time lead to 30-25 and it was 52-40 at the three-quarter mark.Bynum Alurnbaugh paced Coach Dwight Arner’s Tigers with 19 points, while Gary Hicks was the only other double-figure scorer with 13 tallies.In die preliminary game the Glendale B teamers came from behind to nose out the Baby Bengals, 60-59, with Larry Colclazier leading the way with 20 points.Richard Campbell had 22 and Bob Young 18 points for Carthage.Box Score:
