Valuable Player Award Won By CarminatiFORT WORTH — HalfbackCharles Carminati was named the winner of the annual Jimmy Jay Award as the most valuable player on Laneri’s football team last week.Carminati was announced at the Micks’ gridiron banquet in the Laneri gym before 235 parents, players and guests.Coach Pete Campbell revealed that the team had voted on Carminati and Guard Rudy Mauser as Laneri co-captains for the 1956 season.
