TomorrowLENOX — Tom Harrington, the “Masked Marvel” goalie who led the Highland Jerseys* senior hockey team to a 5-4 upset of the Norwalk Oilers in a game in Pittsfield two years ago will return to the team tomorrow, general manager Bud Wells announced yesterday.Harrington will share the goaltending duties with regular goalie Larry Gero against the Cranston (H I.) Scarlets at the Lenox School rink at 7 p.m. Gero will be leaving shortly for active duty with the U.S. Army, so the Jerseys signed Harrington and will prep him as the replacement.Harrington, whose identity was unknown at the time of the game with the Oilers, was dubbed the “Masked Marvel” by local sportswriters after hissuperb performance in that game which marked the peak of the Jerseys* last season in 1967. Now a resident of Ashburnham, Harrington played locally for Lenox School, then for Middle-bury College.
