THE COMING CONTEST.Jack Leonard Makes Arangements for Preliminary ‘'Goes.*’Jack Leonard has returned from Chicago, where he made arrangements) for two or three preliminary bouts j which wiil be pulled off the evening off-the main contest between Jimmie Barry and Casper Leon which ts to take place at Claus Groth hall. Dec. 29. These honts will include such men as Haley. Sprague, Maurice. Kauch. Sam-mie Harris. Tim Callaghan and otherssome of whom are well known here!IIand have appeared in this city. They are all top cotchers in their class.Mr. Leonard and Casper Lean were a: a meeting of the Moline Athletic association last evening', where the former refereed a boxing bout and the latter a wrestling bout. It was not a regular meeting of the club, but what is known as a “Smoker.**Concerning the omirg bout here the Chronicle of this morning says: “One week from tomorrow night in Davenport. Iowa.
