The Tigers took off from their League Championship Win last spring without missing a stride. Glen McKenzie played an outstanding game in goal and had a ®hutout going until IS: 13 of the third period when he was beat on a dost shot by John Hunter. The tigers led 3-0 after the first frame on goals by Alan Hartman, and two goals by right winger David Larson. The Tigers dominated play in the second frame, adding six more goals. Goal scorers were; Blair TamMyn, Gordon Beaulieu, Richard Campbell with two, Gary Burton and David Larson with one to capture his first hat trick of the season. Assists were collected as follows; Beaulieu 2, Irwin Cheyne 2, Larry Hartman 1, David Larson 3, Marty Jeffery 1, Alan Hartman 1, Gary Burton 1, and Neil Fletcher 1. 28 penalties were called, with Tigers being assessed 13.* * *Tigers 7 — Saunders Aircraft 4 Sunday night at Inwood Arena the Tigers added their second win of the week-end by edging the Saunder (Gimli) team 74. The score was Med 1-1 after the first frame on goals by Desveai-xh for Saunders and Alan Hartman for the Tigers. The Tigers opened the second period with three quick goals, while being shorhanded. Larry Renooy dinted the twine twice while Richard Campbell beat Isfeld from close range. The Aircraft came back with a goal by Finnson to make the score 4-2 for the Tigers after the second frame. The Tigers added three more off the sticks of Blair Tamblyn, Alan Hartman and Irwin Cheyne for a final score of 7-4. Tigers collecting assists were: Richard Campbell 1, Gary Burton 1, Blair Tamblyn 1, Alan Hartman 1, Gordon Beaulieu 2, Neil Fletcher 1, and Jeff McCullough 1. Nine penalties were called in all with the Tigers collecting 6 of them. Next Friday, Dec. 22 the Teulon Tigers will host Fisher Branch in the Inwood Arena.
