Leading the charge was Joe Demott, and Bill Berry, who had eight and ten points respectively by the end of the first half.A delay didn’t help the Colonels, as they returned to the court in the third period only to have the scoring onslaughtcontinue '^ . *: ‘When the third period buzzarrang, Collegeville was to far behind to catch up, as they trailed53-25.Though Collegeville tried to comeback a little in the segment, a ten. point run byUnionville permanently ended the Colonels scoring threat, forcing the visitors to settle for41 points for the night.Unionville continued to roll, and racked up another 20 points before the game1 ended, giving'themselves a 73-41 victory.High scorer for the game was Unionville’s Berry and Demott,who both sunk eight field goals and one foul shot for 17 points. Also in double figures were Unionville‘s Bruce Tingle, Collegcville’s Hefelfinger (12 points), and Jerry Ilunsicker,w ith 10 points.“We ver» against tall boys, commented Manley. “None of the Unionville . players were under six feet, and a few of them were 6-5.“Tonight the Colonels go to Archbishop Kennedy for another game,“I think we can win that one,” Manley said, “If the boys have a half decent night, and we get a few of the breaks going with Collegeville presently stands 3*5 on the year, with almost half of their season gone.In the junior varsity game Collegeville outpointed Unionville in a 48-35 romp. - ■ tS?
