It*.—Itube Ferns, tiie welter-welnght champion, went down to defeat at the hands of Joe Walcott, Hit* Barbados black, in five rounds, in the arena of the International vltih house at Fort Erie last night. To save Ferns from beintf completely knocked out Keferee McBride stopped the bout and awarded the decision to W alcott.
