On the defensive team were: Leland Leonard a 165 lb. Junior, at linebacker; and Elmer Attson a 165 lb. Junior, defensive end In the honorable mention category, Chinle placed three more players; Terry Smith a 165 lb., quarterback.Johnny Papa a 160 lb., halfback, and Tsosic Brown a 160 lb., end These players arc chosen for their athletic ability during regular football season by the coaches in the Class “A North Conference. The Wildcats have been in ClasS “A North. Division One. for only two years and have finished up the past season in the number two position Jim Saylcs has also been picked by one of the larger newspapers as an All State End. Sayles a running back for the Wildcats this past season is a transfer student in from Tahoka High School in Texas.
