4- 4 4Three West-North west urea athletes, all graduates of Lane Tech high school, have closed out brilliant football careers at Augustana College. Joe Tomasiewicz, a tri-captain and defensive linebacker,, was named to the All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin team for the fourth time this year and was voted Augie's most valuable defensive player. A senior physical education major, he is a sonof Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Tomasievvicz, 2633 Armilage*iMark Fiore, also a tri-captain this year, started at offensive guard. He is a senior physical education major and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus, Fiore, 1049 N. Springfield. Dave Jackson, who was a quarterback at Lane Tech, was converted to a defensive halfback at Augustana and received his third letter this year. He is a senior mathematics major and a son of Mr. and Mrs. James E, Jackson, 2904 N. Neenah.
