Blue Hawks Open ScoringOpening the game with a jump shot which put the Sophia Blue Hawks ahead of the Stratton Bulldogs by a 2-0 margin is Doug Ford, No. 24. Ford received a pass from a fellow teammate in the first few secondsof the game and saw the opening and then, BINGO. Ford was the big scorer with 18 points in the RaJeigh County League match which was played at Stratton and the win gives Sophia a 3-0 record in the Countyrace. On the floor for the Stratton five are Robert Bentley, No. 11; Roland Coleman, No. 12 and Bill Pennington, No. 25, is shown. Sophia won the contest by a 62-40 count.
