HOCKEY, NEWATHLETIC INTERESTHockey, now fap,i coming into th* 1 limelight, may be introduced at the Oshkosh State Teachers College. ; During the recent cold weather it was 1 discovered that a number of men tk very much interested in the new sport. A hockey team may be organized to represent the Oshkosh State Teachers College.Lawrence, Ripon, and other colleges have had' teams for a number of yoare. It is possible that ’ could bo arranged with ■these and other schools, including sevcval high schools.Lack of a nearby hockey rink, ■ proper equipment, aod adequate funds are among the greatest difficulties to be overcome, The question of the rink is nearly solved* as the Junior Cham-, ber of Commerce has offered the use of their rink which is at Menominee Park.Among those who have played and have showed a great deal of interest in the sport are: Emmet Janda, a former high school flash.
