Peltier, two football fans, entertained the Port Neches Indians and school officials Saturday night with ,a turkey dinner and all the trimmings in the school cafeteria. W. J. This is thq third year that the local theatre has sponsored a show for the needy families in Port Neches.All children up to 12 years will be admitted who bring canned goods, one or more articles of non-perishable food, such as meats, flour, coffee and canned goods.Mr. English has made arrangements with the executive committee for relief here to see that the needy families in this area receive the food.Dionne Quintuplets in Five of a Kind,” will be the picture on the screen.Wilkerson Award To Be Given At Banquet TonightPort Neches Indians, district champions will receive the Wilkerson Award tonight at the banquet honoring the local high school team at Hotel Beaumont.The award will be given to the Champions in District 40-B each year by O. J. Wilkerson, publisher of The Chronicle. The trophy will be a permanent award of the school winning the district each year.The award has three football figures, on a bakelite base. It stands \o inches in height. The center figure is a punter, flanked on eithef side by a passer and a receiver.
