Joe Pcrceale, a prize fighter, who lias been in Davenport and Rock Island foi several months, recently having been employed at the Central bowling alleys and also giving instructions in boxing, was arrested this morning by Officers Tbode and BrJnn for the theft of five boxes of cigars from the Central alleys. Perconte had left the cigars at Pennington. Go’s, saloon on Twentieth street He admitted taking the cigars a ad said he intending selling them U, secure money to get out of town. He was held to the grand jury under §20Q bonds which he was natde to furnish and was sent to the county jail.
