■ EMHS Wins Volleyball Tourney: SusanBurkholder scored 10 points to lead Eastern Mennonite High School past Turner Asbhy 15-8, 15-0 in the championship match of the Broadway-TA Invitational volleyball tournament Saturday.In earlier rounds, the Flames beat host Broadway 15-6, 15-12, Wilson Memorial 4-15, 15-8, 15-12 and Spotswood 15-6, 15-6.TA’s Jami Cornwell was named the tournament MVP. Joining Cornwell and Burkholder on the all-tournament team were Jaclyn Beaghan (Wilson), Krista Weaver (Wilson), Tara Beaghan (Wilson), Tiffany Turner (TA), Marsha Carwell (Riverheads), Kristi Wenger (EMHS) and Cindy Trissel (Spotswood).EMHS is 9-0.(More scores in Scoreboard, Page 18)
