1962 Water-SafetyAwards PresentedClimax to the water-safety classes conducted at Silver Beach this past summer came last Wednesday afternoon to* local swimmers when awards were presented at the Russell school Provincial Red Cross director of water safety, Mr W. LeBlanc, of Winnipeg, wass in Russell to make the presentations Classes were sponsored by the Kiwanis Club in conjunction with their annual boys’ and girls’ summer camp and Mrs Catchpole, of Winnipeg, was the instructress Accompanying Mr LeBlanc to the school was President Ken Munro and other members ofthe Kiwanis Club They were introduced by Principal W H Andnwrt.Awards went to the follow ing: Beginner Eleanor Burgess; junior.
