Although no decision will be given, considerable money is being wagered here in the outcome, the bets to be decided by the popular verdict. Around certain sporting quarters yesterday bets of one to three were offered that McFarland would stop Murphy. It was said the men would not attempt to make weight, and probably would enter the ring at about one hundred and thirty-eight pounds.
