SKOOG STARSI \dIGOPHERS WINMinneapolis —(UP)— Minnesota’s cool, deliberate Gophers posted their second straight basketball victory Saturday night, whipping Oregon State. f0 to 44. with a second half rally.The invading Heavers, who Thursday night beat the Big Ten pre-season favorite, Wisconsin, 49 to 36, tied the Gophers twice at 24-24 in the dying minutes of the first half and at 30-30 just after the second half whistle, but they never led.Everytime they got close.
