Patoka lead at half time 34 to 31 and the final score was 68 to 55 the Warriors winning.Scorers as follows: Larry Thompson—19, Doug Ballance—7, Carl Jolliff—10, Steve Jenkins-4, Luke Walker-6, Jim Padburg-9, and Harlan Gerrish-13.The Warriors then journeyed to Okawville where we were defeated 72 to 53. Scorers were: Thompson-19 Gerrish-1, Jolliff-12, Walker-3, Jenkins-2, Padburg-7, Ballance-9.The B squad beat Ramsey 47to 46 as Roger and Larry Zim-vim t/cHMUb ciuppcu in lur melittle Warriors.At Okawville, the Warriors got beat again 48 to 40. Emil Nattier lead the attack with 14 points.Maurice and Dick Adams Hurt At Rail Cross ineMaurice and Dick Adams were hurt Saturday when their truck hit the engine of the Illinois Central Freight at a crossing two miles south of Patoka.Maurice was taken to Fayette County Hospital and his injuries are not believed to be serious.Dick was treated locally and is able to be at home.
