Colors:,I£hiaSTOCKHOLM,-(UPI) — leading Canadian Amateur Ice Hockey official Friday turned thumbs down on Canada’s chances against Russia in next year’s world hockey championships unless the Canadian representatives improve 50 per cent.Amateur Federation chairman Jack Roxburgh said the Canadian team in the championships in Switzerland in March, Trail Smoke Eaters, “must improve their strength by at least 50 per cent if they are to have any chance against the very fast and strong Soviet team.” „ . .. j“I am very impressed by the Russian team, he said.
