LAST GAMECelebrates Close OfWith Parade.X.Jasper assumed all the aspects of a college town Monday afternoon when the students of Jasper College celebrated the close of a successful season of football by parading the downtown streets. Fresh from their 39 to 0 victory over Spencerian College on Sunday afternoon, the team was featured in the parade. All the factory whistles blew as the “Flying Dutch-men,” preceded by the college band and the student body, filed through town. The shriek of the whistles, the playing of the band and the lust veils of the students speedilya. crowd of spectators to the curbs.After the parade, a gilded football bearing the inscription “J. C. 6, St. X.was buried on the College campus with a marker reading: Here lies the Pigskin of 1926, Dig me up if you can beat my record.On Monday evening, the entire footed! squad was entertained at luncheon by Sylvester Berger, proprietor of the Ideal Pool Room. After a delightful repast speeches were made by Carl Duddenhausen of Evansville, an en-thusisatic J. C. fan, and by 0. A.
