Meet Set Here\znfidUfiAstjMany of the top horses of the' Southwest are expected to be entered in a cutting horse contest scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday, according to Charles E. King, show chairman of the Wichita County Sheriff’s Patrol,It will be the firet event held in the newly constructed rodeo arena located one mile north of the Seymour Highway on FM 369. The grounds are near the Jack Frost Ranchhouse.The contest, which expects toj have more than 75 animals entered in the four classes, is spqn-sored by the Wichita County Sher-iffs patrol. The new all-steel arena also is owned by the patrol. \ Held under the approval of the North Texas Cutting Horse Association the classes will includenovice horse and novice rider, novice horee, any rider; Class A novice horse, any rider; and open class.These classes will cover horses that have reached all phases of training; according to King. Two Wichita Falls men, J. W. Hast-ings Jr, and. “Hoot” Wa!ker_ will judge the open class. Judges for the other classes will be picked from the contestants. ---------------B. A.
