He is a student of North Texas Stite Teachers’ College, from which institution he will receive his B. S. degree this summer. He will have classes in general science, biology. chemistry, and physics. He will also assist Miss Sullivan in the du-j ties of sponsorship of the ninth grade.Mr. Gray, when in Sadler, was coach of the girls’ basketball team and of the school’s six-man football team which tied with Southmayd for county honors. His work as a teacher and a director of school ac- I tivities has been exceptionally com- | mendable.Miss Sullivan, who holds B. A. and M. A. degrees from the University of Colorado, has done much of her graduate work in the field of English and is excellently prepared to l/?ad the department. She has for the past several years had classes in junior English, prior to whichtime she taught eighth grade English.Nolan Ekisell, commercial instructor, has been appointed to assist the senior class in their social activities. Mrs. J. A. Loftin, home economics teacher, is in charge of the ways and means activities of the class, and Coach Roger Martin is official home room sponsor.Mrs. Sears Anderson has beenelected as teacher of the emergency room of the primary department, an arrangement made mandatory by the increased attendance in the firstthree grades. Students from each of these rooms were re-assigned to alleviate the over-crowded conditions existing in each place. Mrs. Anderson has an enrollment of 32 in the emergency, or overflow room, while Mrs .1. S. Cravens, first grade teacher; Miss Hazell Barnett, second grade teacher, and Mrs. Theo Denton, third grade teacher, average more than forty in each of their rooms.Mrs. Anderson was a member of the faculty for nine years before her resignation.
