“MAN-HORSE” LEAVES JAILGeorge A*her Promises to Stay Off Business Stiretn \\ itli Wagon.George Asher, Joplin’s “wan-horse,” -paid hhn debt to the city yesterday and was released from custody. He had been In the city jail .since Wednesday afternoon. Asher, it was said, was intoxicated when he fell in his harness on Main street between Sixth and Seventh streets.He promised the police to go to his farm near Grand Falls and to stay off the principal streets here with his quaint {wagon and outfit.
