(VBANON PURCHASEGAME TO BE AIRED BY WFAAFinal drills for San Saba’s-Bowl-bound Pewee gridderg are slated for Friday afternoon, and early Saturday morning a caravan of players, band members, cheering squads and fans will leave here for Cameron where the _ * ►Red and White clad warriors of the San Saba grammar school will meet the mighty Pewees from Gause in the First Annual Milk Bowl, game.Heading the caravan will be “Miss San Saba,” milk goat mascot of the Pewee team. A highway patrol escort will guide the huge caravan to Cameron. The San Saba mascot was presented by Carl Taylor.Coach Leon Lane said his teamAis keyed for the contest, and hopes for a dry field so his mighty mites can open up with their speed and deception. He pointed out, however, come foul weather his charges will have a trick or two up their sleeves for the highly touted Gause eleven.School officials said that fouj* busses loaded with the San Saba Armadillo band, pep squad members,, and football players would leave from the high school gym promptly at 0 a.m. Additional busses are being planned for student followers of the Pewees as the need is shown.
