Altoona Cath Drops NBC Five, 73-47de-leyItjeaNorthern Bedford County Joint High School** basketball team suffered a 47-73 defeat at the hands of a visiting Altoona Catholic Friday night.It wa* the Biscuit*#’* first loss in two starts this season. They won their opener with Robertsdale Tuesday night, 62 to 50.In the Friday meet at Smith Center in Yellow Creek, Altoona Catholic Jayvees also won 37 to 12.In the varsity contest only in the third quarter did Northern manage to dominate the scoring, with 17 points to the visitors* 19.Jim Cogan of Northern with five field goals and 11 fouls for 21 points, was high scorer of the evening.
