Simpson Rally Provides WinOver Shiloh 5SHILOH — A third quarter surge enabled the Mansfield John Simpson, junior high school basketball team to open its season with a narrow 54-52 victory over Shiloh here yesterday.The Bulldogs trailed 28-20 at halftime, but outscored the Drummer Boys 15-9 in the third heat to assume a 41-37 edge. Shiloh tallied 15 in the finaL period to 13^ for Simpson.Paul Jaynes and Bill McDonald sparked the Mansfield-ers to their triumph. Jaynes swished in 17 points and the lanky McDonald contributed 14.Diminutive Chuck Wallace paced the Shiloh offensive with seven field goals and seven free throws for 21 points.
