NAPOLEON WON AT FOOT BALL.Lack of Training Made Defiance an Easy Mark—Two Players Hurt.The football game between the Oriol Glee Club, of Napoleon, and the Defiance team Thanksgiving afternoon, at the Napoleon fair grounds, was a one sided affair.The score was 32 and 0 in favor of the Napoleon team, which clearly shows that our team have not hadenough training.And then there were only two men in the Defiance team who ever played foot ball before according to the existing rules.Defiance need not feel so bad about it, as Napoleon was defeated still worse in her first game with Wauseon. The game was played quite fairly all the way through and our boys were well treated at Napoleon with the exception of two of our best players,whom the Napoleon team had determined to disable by any means, fairor foul. They succeeded in doing so by foul means and the men who did it will not be forgotten.A return date will be played some time in the near future when our team has had more training.
