It also meant six workers at Screen Graphics had to come in for an unusual Sunday shift to produce shirts with five Rose Bowl-themed designs.“They have the official graphics of the Rose Bowl, Stai said. All of SCMB Graphic Rose Bowl products m licensed by the Badgers and the Rose Bowl, even though that involves some homework.It takes from one to three days to come up with a design, he said. The design is then submitted to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., and alicensing company in Atlanta, Ga. If the design gets preliminary approval, Screen Graphics prints samples and submits them for final approval.Two of the five designs include the image of Wisconsin’s mascot, Bucky Badger.Stai said Screen Graphics can print 300 to 400 sweatshirts or 500 to 600 T-shirts per hour on each press unit.Some of Screen Graphics products go to clients such as Target, ShopKo and Farm Fleet, Stai said.The Badgers’ last appearance in the Rose Bowl was in 1963, when they lost 42-37 to the University of Southern California.Flaving the Badgers return to the Rose Bowl is wonderful, he said. “Absolutely. It’s been a long time in coming.”You can count on Stai being in Pasadena to watch the Badgers.“I’m signed up. My money’s in (for a tour).
